Letter from White House to F4KIDZ

Dear Students

Thank you for coming to visit the white House. I am glad you have taken time to learn about the Presidency and about how our democracy works.

One of the most important lessons you can team about our Government is that every citizen has an opportunity and a responsibility to participate. Elected representatives listen carefully to citizens as they cast votes and make decisions, and your views are important to me. I want to hear your opinions and ideas as we work to build a brighter future for your generation.

The day-to-day work inside the White House and Capitol will greatly influence your future. I hope you will learn as much as you can while you are here. And enjoy the exciting privilege of being surrounded by so much history. When you return to school, I trust you will continue to study hard and contribute in class-and involve yourself in community service projects-so you will be prepared to help us lead this great Nation.

Thank you, again for visiting. The First Lady and I wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful time.

Sincerely,
Barak Obama
