Mental Health for Immigrants youth and kids
The behavioral health needs of children served through this program are addressed through the creation of expressive art such as safe boxes, sculptures, drawing pictures and dance therapy to express feelings related to making friends, attending new schools and assimilation to US culture. All of which bring a positive impact on the social and emotional needs of these children and positive behavioral change, highlighting their resilience, while reducing the stigma of mental health services.
