FRIDAY MARCH 17TH, 2023 AT 6 PM CST. 7 PM EST, 4 PM PST

Beyond the financial burden, immigrant parents face several additional challenges, from cultural anxiety to familial pressure.

Immigrant parents and their children both endure the struggle to learn American social rituals, gender roles, and even things like holiday celebrations and language access.

In addition to pressure to assimilate, immigrant children often struggle to satisfy their parents’ expectations. These expectations frequently include achieving notable academic and career success and maintaining their culture.

Many children of immigrant parents find it difficult to satisfy their parents’ expectations—especially when so many sacrifices have been made on their behalf. This can be a further drain on the mental health of immigrant children.
Join other immigrant parents in the USA on March 17th as we dive deeper into the challenges of raising kids in America.

Art therapy for children can be very beneficial, especially at this time where many kids are emotionally affected by the pandemic and many refugee kids from war trauma.
Art Therapy is popular in schools and hospitals due to its healing and behavior management potential. Children who take part is art therapy have a chance to express themselves about topics that may be too difficult to vocalize. Whether drawing, painting, or writing poetry, the expressive therapy can increase confidence and self-awareness, relieve stress, or provide a coping mechanism for children who have emotional conflicts.
Sign up for this program. This class will also accommodate the underserved children in our community with developmental problems or speech disorders.
The class size is very small and is only on first come first served.
