The Hispanic Leaders Group of Greater St Louis spent March 5th in Jefferson for 19th Hispanic Capitol Day. V4A president Mr Geoffrey Soyiantet was part of the 25 HLG delegates. At the capitol the delegates were able to meet Missouri Governor, Lt Governor, State Secretary, State Attorney, State Auditor, State Treasure, many other state officials and representatives. They group presented great statistics on immigrants economic contributions in our region. We also discussed some key issues and concerns in the region and most importantly: to create good relationships and bonds with our state officials and representatives. Governor Mike Parson and the first lady Teresa Parson hosted the group later in the evening at governor’s mansion.
The Hispanic Leaders Group of Greater St Louis serves various Hispanic groups with the goal of promoting and supporting the advancement of vibrant Hispanic communities through networking, education, and advocacy in our region.
Vitendo4Africa is collaborating with Hispanic community, Asian community, and other communities on issues of health and economic development in our region. We are also partnering with these organization to create the awareness on 2020 census among the hard to count immigrant population.
