Increase of immigrants home owners in North County

V4A in partnership with Beyond Housing offers free workshops for new homeowners. Beyond Housing homeownership program provides education and one-on-one counseling to prepare participants to make informed choices throughout the home buying process. There has been in increase of immigrants new home buyers in Florissant Hazelwood and Bridgeton. This is attributed by friendly neighborhood in the city, effective V4A programs and continued support by Mayor of Florissant Mr. Thomas Schneider. Hazelwood School district also creates a friendly and welcoming environment for immigrants students. Hazelwood West High school has the highest number of immigrants students and for the last four years the Festival of Nations annual events has become very popular among residents in North County. V4A also has a program where we visits HSD elementary classes to teach students about Africa and some Swahili language.

People likes to buy houses near their friends, in a good school district and not far from V4A office in order to access our services. Every Friday we have over sixty kids attending F4KIDZ soccer program, over 40 youth attends youth program and many attends one on one sessions on citizenship and immigration.
