Kenya’s Kids Exhibit at Magic House

On behalf of Vitendo4africa and Kenyan Community of St. Louis, I would like to express our sincere thank you for attending Kenya’s Kids Exhibit grand opening ceremony at Magic House. The Magic House’s newest cultural exhibit, Kenya’s Kids, is designed to help Magic House visitors discover what life is like for children in Kenya today. The F4kidz African Kids Dance group did a wonderful performance.

This historic event was attended by hundreds of Kenyans and friends living in St. Louis. In the presence was Senator Kyle McCarter, Tim Nowak of World Trade Center  and Betsy Cohen of St Louis Mosaic Project. Other organizations who were represented includes International Institute St. Louis, St. Louis Zoo, World Wide Technology, Claim Academy and the great people of Kenyan Community of St. Louis. It is because of these great partnerships and collaborations that St Louis continue to be great and a welcoming city for new talents, different cultures and economic growth.

In a special way, we thank Beth Fitzgerald and Magic House team for their great commitment and dedication of embracing and promoting different cultures in St. Louis. Global awareness and understanding of other cultures is of paramount important for a growing economy.

Global awareness and international collaboration at an early age results in more rounded individuals, encouraging our children to see things from different perspectives and helping them to make informed decisions, acquiring transferable skills that will be useful to them and will remain with them for life.

The Kenya’s Kids exhibit is free with Museum admission and will be at The Magic House from June 11, 2018 through January 21, 2019. We encourage everyone to visit and tour the exhibit during this period.

Vitendo4africa is happy and proud to be part of this great initiative. We hope to impact more lives through similar collaborations and partnerships with other agencies.

With deep gratitude.

Geoffrey Soyiantet
Vitendo4africa Executive Director
