Immigrant Women at St Louis University Cancer cente


Every month we provide transportation to immigrant women for free pap smear and mammogram screenings at St. Louis University Cancer center. We also host health education classes at your local churches. If you are interested in V4A coming to your church please contact us.


V4A conducts health fair event the last Saturday of January. The purpose of this health fair is to decrease the health gap that exists between immigrants and the general public. Participants receive information from various health care experts on engaging in a healthier life style including the importance of having routine health screenings. The healthfair consists of screenings, exhibitors, and workshops on available immigrant resources

The objectives of the Health fair are to:

  • Raise an awareness of health disparities that exist nationwide.
  • Provide participants with knowledge from experts on various health topics
  • Inform participants that taking preventive measures (e.g., routine health exams) can reduce the chances of having major health challenges.
  • Educate participants on the importance of keeping an open line of communication with their health care provider.

We provide transportation lo other public health fair for the following free health screenings for men and women:

  • Cholesterol
  • Blood Pressure
  • Vision
  • Dental
  • etc

We also do big health screenings events twice a year, in January and September.  Watch Video
