ST. Louis Teens Raising funds to go Help Children in Need in Kenya

A group of High School Students from St. Louis, Missouri are passionate to travel to Kenya this summer to help children in need.  In the previous mission trip,
Since January this year, they’ve been collecting money, school supplies, shoes, soccer balls, and medical items to ship for donation in Kenya. Like the last cohort class of 2018/2019, they’ll be visiting local orphanages and hospitals. They will also be building a classroom in a remote area of the country.
The group is organizing various fundraising events to meet the budget goal of $15,000. They are hosting Kids Night with games and fun-filled activities on Friday, February 14th, at Christ Covenant Church in Florissant from 6 pm to 9.30 pm. Charges are $15 per child for kids 4 -12 years. So far they have raised $2,450 in cash.

They would like your support so that they can continue their efforts in helping disadvantaged youth and children. Your donations will go a long way to cover the cost of classroom building materials, school supplies, and basic hygiene necessities to the girls in underprivileged schools and orphanages. Upon their return to the US they will conduct presentations in their schools, churches and in monthly youth workshops.

Overall, their goal is to leave a mark on the places they volunteer and the people interact with.   Your help will be highly appreciated and we would also encourage you to reach out to others to also enlist their support in helping us reach our goal.
